good thing this paper model was made in more than ONE copy huh..you know.. so the anal "perfectionist can build your own the "correct way"

Nice model. Too bad the designer made the wings red instead of white or olive green. When winter came, all airplanes and tanks were painted white. This soon lead to a shortage of white paint.
They "solved" the problem by using less paint, leaving the wings green. Most, if not all MiG's 3 were olive green.

You can still fix it by using semi gloss white or green enamel paint for your paper model. This will not warp the paper.

The red wings are correct, the idea behind was that shot down planes would be found easier, and this kind of "Camo" is known especially from the MiG-3. Nevertheless, the idea was soon discarded, for obvious reasons.
