Damageplan definitely could have been better than Pantera if they had the chance to make more albums.

After years of non stop touring, they'd got sick of each other. Phil was in pain from a back injury. He didn't like how much Dime was drinking, they didn't approve of Phil taking heroin. Phil wanted to do different projects, but he didn't return any phone calls to update Pantera.
Phil started saying things against Pantera at his shows and in magazines.
Vinnie, took this to be extreme treachery and disloyalty.
We lost Dime, and I think Vinnie and Rita feel it was Phil's fault to a degree.

Ironic they play walk for a guy who can't :D
Everyone who met Dime, loved him-
Pantera/Dime/Damageplan did this type of thing every night, they never thought they were above us, they cared for everyone and made everyone welcome.
The world, for me, is so much shitter without Dimebag in it- but his guitar designs are doing well, which I think he'd be happy about.
Respect to Phil, for writing all the lyrics, being a great "singer" and for helping to make Pantera what they were.
RIP Dime

Agreed. I love this video. Dime truly was loyal to his fans. You rarely see bands like that these days. I envy that fucker on stage. Thats an experience you know he'll never forget.

All I can say is how awesome that guy musta felt being on stage with Dime, and getting a beer and being treated like that. If more bands would do shit like that....
