I have PSE Kingfisher bow + fishing kit myself. Enough to get you started with bowfishing. And the bow is great bow to shoot also when not fishing with it. It's not too expensive either.

Grass Carp are over populated and are threating the native fish species. Bow fisherman are doing all the "rod and reel fisherman" a favor. All fish that are legal to take bowfishing are over popluated and dangerious to native game fish and there enviroment, there for bowfisherman are helping clean up water ways. I am a Professional bowfisherman and proud of it. And it is much harder that catching fish on a rod and reel. If you dont believe me give it a try. And if you dont like it FUCK you.

wow!!thats sooooo hard..NOT..do yourselves a favor and pick up a rod and reel..then youll have yourselves a real fight..and for all you yankees information..grass carp help the environment by cleaning out unwanted vegetation..without them in USA are water systems would be much overinfested with the unwanted vegeation

just get really inexpensive bow. i recomend a 50# draw minimum for recurve and 45# minimum for compound. for a reel if you go fishing a lot and know your way around a reel i reccomend getting an 808 bowfishing reel but if your a beginer get an AMS retriever reel

well i want to make sure i dont loose any fish. i only shoot carp which have extremely strong scales so i need a strong bow
