Coulson Flying Tankers Mighty Martin Mars Water Bombers

Back

Flying Tankers operate on the philosophy of "gallons per hour". Simply stated, this means a direct assault on the fire by dropping the largest possible amount of water or gel in the shortest possible time. This philosophy, combined with the Mars excellent initial attack and outstanding ability for sustained operations are the keys to our success - they are scoopers and, working in tandem, they are able to deliver 14,000 US gallons (54,500 litres) of suppressant for the initial attack and continue delivering as much as 7,200 US gallons (27,276 litres) every seven minutes thereafter in sustained operations if needed.

Mr. Coulson: Just a quick question. Did you remove or cover the BCFS decal for the United States Forest service decal?

The photos at Lake Shasta California show no BC decal.

Just had a tour inside both the Phillippine and Hawaii Mars on Saturday. Absolutely incredible. The pilot said there was a 50/50 chance of going back to California in a week or two.

Caught this great lady flying over the city of Riverside on the way to Elsinore. Being a retired firefighter, THANKS COULSON! I just wish my dad had lived long enough to see this. He flew airtankers out of Hemet for many years. Heard about the bird strike, hope they got it fixed. Stay safe!

Always glad to help a neighbour to the south. Just sorry they didn't call for the Mars sooner.

yeah that's the problem with the officals here, "we got it handled, we got it no worries, oh no we don't".
