after having countless bikes stolen in nyc a reverse sting operation was set. the neistat brothers steal their own bicycles in daylight in downtown nyc. begging the attention of the police but never getting it.

ok first of all if you walk up to it with boltcutters i wouldnt suspect anything, if you were to slowly walk up to it and sneakily pull out the boltcutters and try to make it look like you werent cutting it maybe people would say something. IF YOU PUT ON FULL PROTECTIVE GEAR NOONE WOULD THINK YOUR A THIEF YOU LOOK LIKE YOU WORK FOR THE CITY OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!

What good does a patrolling police car if they only pass by quietly as a suspected crime is occurring right beneath their noses?
