This scares me. This could happen to me or you, or anyone else. Makes me wonder how many people wnet to jail, or even their deaths, despite their innocence! I do believe in do the crime, do the time........ but........ I once was arrested for something I didn't do; I was let out the next day , thank goodness. But because of that experience it gave me a taste of what this must be like! This is definitely a cause to believe in!

him search him on google. My father has been through alot. 12 years were taken from his life. So dont go talking trash and saying he dont look innocent because first of all what does innocent look like and second you have no idea what not only my father Herman Atkins has been through but what our family has been through. So follow the old saying dont judge a book by its cover you ignorant ubnoctious dimwitted unmature judgeing butt hole!!!!!!!

Hi Belizeian godess001, is that father for real? I wish him- and you the best, for real. I favorited this video and a few others like it. Wasn't your father featured in After Innocence? Shmouts, you sound like an ignorant racist asshole! I bet this guy has way more intelligence than you do!

Well first of all that is my father your talking about. and you said that he doesnt look innocent? for a man that went to prison he came out with a wonderful family life. When someone gets out of prison it is extreamely hard to start your life over but my father i remind you took the chance and went to college and ended up getting his masters in psychology and his bachelors in science thank you very much. And also at this very moment in 2008 he back in school for a law degree so before you judge

Believe it. It happens all the time. Mr. Atkins was lucky that his case actually had evidence to refute. DNA cases can be reversed. Steve Peace was convicted of a murder 20 years after the fact. Try fighting against witnesses that have been given immunity, and say oh, yea, now I remember, he said he did it. So therefore he must have done it. Take that and a lawyer who takes your money and doesn't bother to prepare for a defense. Bingo ! Off to Prison . Search for the Steve Peace video on Utube.
