An absolute gem of a a song! 4-part harmonies, idealistic guitar melodies, driving percussion - the perfect rock song.

fastrnb...thanks for the info. on prefects. Now the song makes more sense. Must be fun being a prefect if all the cute girls are running after you. Can girls be prefects, too?

The Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon. Are you ready? You can be!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Behold the Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon! Call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be ready!

very interesting live take. a good live-band, very rocking rhythm section matching voices, a great lead guitarist...must be the hollies!a agree, very underrated too even good songwriting though the band lost a lot when nash departed, but most sixties bands lost their grip in the seventies(gharstly word!)

The most beautiful voices ever!!
The Hollies is one of the most underrated pop rock band.Bobby Elliot a superb drummer.Allan Clarke...well...Allan was the top of the top Although unusually the musical press has always ignored him. Clarke must be in every list about the 10 best singers of the pop-ballad-rock all times, for his vocal level, his versatility for to tackle all the rhythms, and his qualities when he sing the bleated slow ,merseybeat, ballads, reggae, as when he sing hardrock.-

mac- Not likely. The Beatles were influenced by American Rock figures of the 1950's. Elvis, The Everly Brothers, Little Richard. The Hollies were good, but the Beatles were in a category all by themselves. They would've had little to learn from the Hollies.

estell - In England, it's what they call the Dean of the school, or...the Principal.

It's (very roughly) a combination hall monitor/resident assistant type position used in British schools. The students in the oldest few grades are put in charge of all the younger students and have near absolute authority outside of the classrooms.
