In The Aeroplane Over The Sea

Back

My tribute to Anne Frank with Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. Jeff Mangum's lyrics and musical talent ignites an eternal flame to those who perished in the holocaust.

What a beautiful face
I have found in this place
That is circling all round the sun
What a beautiful dream
That could flash on the screen
In a blink of an eye and be gone ...

Wonderful. Thanks.

For some reason I've been shifting towards Avery Island lately and not caring about Aeroplane as much, Avery is more beautifully noisy and experimental, mysterious and whatnot. I guess I just over-played Aeroplane for weeks in the summer. still both my favorite albums.

This song is so deep, all of their music is wonderful and speaks so much truth.

I know I leave a comment here every week, but man....I just can't stop listening...and with this video28.The end of this video, where they're looking out at the beach. They had no idea the horrors that lay in store for them. They were just two ordinary girls. They were just looking out at the beach, who knows what they were thinking, just two ordinary girls. One would write a book that changed history and peoples views on a world war. How could they meet such a fate??
