Ive played this game before-ive beat it.or
In the holes you will find parts of a communicator. You find all the parts and then ET can call home. The cop takes them from you, the doctor just annoys you. The little boy is Elliot, he helps you. After you get all the parts you call home, go to the forest board and wait for the spaceship. If the cop or doctor show up on that board while you are waiting it wont come so you have to lure them away.
Its a dumb game but then again it was made years ago.

omg! I am so glad i wasn't the only one who didn't get it. That is exactly how i felt! I was like wtf the whole like 3 minutes i played this. I NEVER got it!
