during the 2005 bathurst 1000, the #11 LPR car hit the wall, and a tyre bounced off the car, the next car along was the #888, who copped the wheel right in the windscreen.

they still finished the race (albeit 2 laps down and very cold)

2005 bathurst 1000, Paul Dumbrell smashed the wall on the exit of turn 2, the left rear wheel came off Dumbrells car bounced up the road a bit and then came into the path of lowndes car. And yeah.
