she wrote the lyrics herself. I'm pretty sure [kinda lol] that all her songs were at least lyrically her own if not musically.

i'm pretty sure if someone else wrote the lyrics, they wouldn't use "Japanesey" for fear of sounding racist.

uuhhh...looks like they dumbed down the english for her "Japanesie" image. O my goodness this is embarrasing. Japanesey? Really? Stereotyping her back to the "love you long time" crap. Or is it "Japan Easy"? It is a song about how some guy boned her and ran. I give cred to bringing a full blood Japanese person a little bit into the larger America media, but its unfortunate they had to do it with this.

Oh well, I guess you always have to start somewhere.
