hahaha are you kidding me??? marines are the elites, im a Canadian Forces soldier and i can say that...weve beat the us army over and over again in our joint exercises. my unit has never gone against the marines though.

YES, marines are overated. They rate themselves. marines are proudfull and soldiers are humble.
any soldier will do the same thing that a marine can do and not call attention to himself. a marine will.
marines want attention soldier will not.

Semper Fi!!! Bravo CO, 1st Battalion honor Graduate, I just got home today!...we actually did this cadence on the way back from the Crucible on the 9 mile hike...as soon as we hit the bridge next to 4th battalion...Mamma Mamma can't you see...
