This video is in no way related to the Recruit that drowned awhile back on the news. Swimming is an integral part of USMC training, hence the title "Marine." If you do not pass the swimming test, you will get probably get dropped. The Drill Instructors and Swim Qual Instructors are all very experienced and highly trained in every aspect. godsenthero, once you earn the title Marine you can get a tat, i don't care if your canadian or whatnot, or if anyone that lives near you will know what it stands for, once you pass boot and EARN the title Marine do as you please

I thought they did that because most of the children carry weapons there and the "pregnant" mothers often carry bombs under their dress to make themselves look pregnant. Not sure because I havent served yet though. Don't take my word for it.
