Date: 19 May, 2004... True Story behind the Kaziranga National Park - Tiger Attack - The Complete Video.

The forest department was combing the area with five elephants to locate a large female tiger which had killed two cows near their village. The team cautiously moved almost 20 feet where she was growling away. They took a shot at it with a dart gun and missed. This enraged the tiger so much that she charged and took a "flying" leap 12 feet above the ground on to the elephant's head. What's even more amazing is what happened next.

You people are fucking insane to get on an elephant and try to tranqilize a tiger in its own territory. You at least need a car to you can put the window down just a crack and stick your gun out without risking your life.
It sucks for the guy that got his hand bitten off!

as usual no clue about what u r saying.. i have been to this park ..a ..two meter tall elephant grass wont even allow you to drive a car... its a different kind of jungle out there.. not the typical African savannas you see in Animal Planet

his hand was ripped up something fierce but not removed. and the tigress and her cubs had escaped from a reserve, the cubs were retrieved before this happened.
