Jack Smith actually appears in this, as do Tony Conrad, Henry Flynt, Jackson Mac Low as well as Angus Maclise and his wife Hetty.

I'm pretty sure he did.
The person who made the soundtrack to Invasion is Angus Maclise, and he worked with Jack Smith.
