I love her sound but she rreally needs a band. i'm not impressed by the mic next to the amp. she could at least loop the guitar part and use a drum machine,

She does have a band, "The Equations".

How do you mean you're not impressed by the mic next to the amp?
blisterbabe7373 (January 29, 2008 at 8:44 am)
why didn't they all play? I mean that @ :08 there is a mic next to the amp lookin thing that is playin the other parts of the song. I didn't mean to rag on her, but I would just like to see actual people playing the other parts to the song.

Ahh, well the band is kind of a backing band,, because I guess you could say she was a 'bedroom artist', and it's like electronica?

The mic next to her amp is to record her guitar not for the backing tracks. Unless my experience leads me to be sorely mistaken.

But it looks like the chord is leading away from the amp... At any rate, she's good, but I still say it would be better with a band. Metric, for example, is kinda electronic, but they have a band etc.

word.

I wish she'd ripped off Glenn Branca's 36-note chords instead of his band name.
