They invaded Vietnam because Democracy was its main reason for invading. Democracy is a valid reason. Communism adds as a threat to the U.S. I don't like the United States, but you are wrong. U.S. troops in Iran and Iraq is not for the purpose of money. It's pretty detrimental to our economy. It's not a good business opportunity. The reason they put democracy in place is so the country's not a threat anymore. They still believe in democracy in these countries, but not for the same purpose

amen, I can't believe there are still people who believe the main reason the USA invades these countries is to liberate them and make democracy and justice for its people
to them wars are great as long as there can be good money made and it's "good business opportunities"
even more funny are all those fools that believe the USA acts out of pure "self defense"

Depends where they fight, even Britain+US can't invade Russia, Russia would destroy them anywhere at its border, though they would defeat Russia 2 on 1 if conflict was on neutral ground somewhere. But if it's nuclear war then Russia would destroy them both. It is largest country on earth and there will be some Russia left, but there will not be any US or Britain left as Russia is 4 times the size of US and Britain combined and has more nukes than both combined.

if there is nuclear war all mankind is fucked
the survival of the human race is in doubt, and there is little chance mankind would recover
it must never happen ever, not anywhere on the planet

No that's a been myth that's been propagated by fear mongers. Even if there is full scale nuclear war mankind would be fine. Think about it, some places like entire continents wouldn't even have a single nuke land on them, south america and africa are examples. And of course vast parts of Russia would be untouched except for some fall out that could be survived.

unfortunately there is this theory called nuclear winter
in a case of thousands of burning cities all over the northern hemisphere, large quantities of soot are thrown up in the atmosphere blocking out the sun for months, needless to say temperatures drop all over the planet and due to this "nuclear winter" all crops die and there is widespread famine all over the planet
fallout also can be carried a longway with winds
emp's strike out all electrics and mankind is back in the middle ages

Nuclear winter is a fear mongering myth. Look at a chart/map of prevailing wind patterns in the world and then at a map of the cities that are targeted by major nuclear powers. Humans would survive nuclear war don't you worry about that. Not that I'm advocating it, hell no. You're right mankind wouldn't be 'fine' by a long shot, but it would survive, yes it would. Would I want to live in that aftermath? Hell no, I hope the first nuke lands on my house.
