Soviet/ USSR Anthem in English, with Soviet Videos (recorded from Victory Parade of 1945). By Paul Robeson.

English lyrics of this version

United forever in friendship and labour,
Our mighty republics will ever endure.
The great Soviet Union will live through the ages.
The dream of a people their fortress secure.

CHORUS:
Long live our Soviet Motherland, built by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our People, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire. Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

Through days dark and stormy where Great Lenin led us
Our eyes saw the bright sun of freedom above
and Stalin our Leader with faith in the People,
Inspired us to build up the land that we love.

CHORUS:
Long live our Soviet Motherland, built by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our People, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire. Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

We fought for the future, destroyed the invader,
and brought to our homeland the Laurels of Fame.
Our glory will live in the memory of nations
and all generations will honour her name.

CHORUS:
Long live our Soviet Motherland, built by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our People, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire. Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

"Hitler killed many people, but at least he looked out for his own"
Thats the biggest absurd I have heard in my entire life. I am not discussing Stalin. Hitler kild 7 millions betwen germans, jewish and gypsies. And Hitler also killed approximately 30 MILLIONS of russians.
TheWhiteSuit (October 6, 2008 at 6:47 pm)
Hitler and the Nazi Party killed approximately 7 million people, consisting mainly of Jews, with many other ethnic groups like Gypsies and the Catholic followers. Stalin killed 25 million, the majority of which were his own people. Hitler was far less a bastard than Stalin, and any Russian that would now say anything other than that would be critically brainwashed through Communist Soviet propaganda. Hitler killed many people, but at least he looked out for his own.

You would be correct, My Buddy who is from Moscow, Grandfather told us one time that Stalin killed over 25 million of his own people. But I am not sure how accurate he was, but I think that was close.
