I remember reading some book that said that yellow and black stripes were the 'uniform of the devil' (?) and that was just further proof that Stryper was evil (or at least misguided.)

There's nothing quite like the weirdness that surrounded christian rock music back then. :)

These guys sound a lot better than I remembered, though. Killer song.

C'mon! It's already clear that Stryper is the best no matter what! ^^ <33

Ha! You think that's bad? Try being an openly gay Orthodox Christian anarchist vegan chronic masturbator in Iran.

Honestly, I sympathise for the people who come here and bash at religion. It appears that they have been hurt in some way or another and do need help. No sarcasm intended.

You spelled sympathize wrong.
scorael (September 2, 2008 at 5:24 am)
English spelling, not American
BooogerKing (September 2, 2008 at 6:20 am)
Oh, I wasn't aware you guys spelled it that way. Sorry about that!

very, very well said. I couldnt have said it better my self. if the people here have nothing better to do than come here and bash people's faith and opinions, well then maybe it is time for an apocolyspe... or we could stop being morons, though i think the apocolyspe will come first.

I hadn't heard Stryper before, and I don't care what the subject matter is...their sound is freakin' tight. Okay, so for some of this it's about as real to me as Gamma Ray singing about fighting alien invaders -- who cares? The vocals are passable, and the guitars and drums are completely sweet.
