at what range are these guys engaging enemies? from the footage it would seem over 500 metres, but thats only a guess because you never actually see any visible insurgents

800 meters is a LONG shot for a 5.56mm. If they even hit anything, the terminal ballistics are lousy.

You look at this and you feel bad for the Iraq. Then you watch a video of some American Reporter getting his head cut off, and it makes you wanna help out these guys.
