SO true. He can write dialogue and not much else. Just look at clerks 2, porch monkey. There are moments of absolute genius i.e. the dialogue but the story and everything else is complete wank. He needs helps.

I love that wave of realization that slowly washes over the crowd at the end. He really knows how to tell a great story.

When he said that dialogue is what he's really good at, I thought, wouldn't Chasing Amy also make a great stage play? He's great at conversations, maybe one day he ought to try his hand at one.
