The scratch is a scratch from a song by The Fearless Four called "F-4000". It's the b-side of their 12" "Problems of the World Today". In the breakdown, that scratch is the only thing heard and De La sampled it without altering it and looped it and put a beat under it. Clever. Just a little "depth" for the real hip-hop heads out there...Told you I was bored.
