Forreal yo. Bullets aren't guided, they go through walls, car doors, doors, etc. When you've got an 'insurgent' coming to a town and firing at us forces and then taking refuge in a house, you're going to have dead civies.

its my true belief that if your havent been here, then you have no right to say what happen here.
only soldiers and the iraqi people will ever now the try reality that your average citizen can only assume.
the reporters dont go where we go but stay where we have made it safe as possible.
90 percent of iraq is stable with the exception of indirect pop shots taken at us soldiers and terror tactics conducted on the civilian population.
simple fact, most soldiers didnt fire a shot untill sadir

I had the honor to serve with C. co 1-27 TF Spear from Jan to April 2008. THey are some of the most professional and well trained soldiers in the army. I would go back into battle with these guys any day!

Nobody but soldiers on the ground, both iraqi and american, know how difficult a job it is to be there, especially in Sadr City. Al Sadr had had multiple opportunites to embrace the US involvement because we gave him the chance to lead his people. I understand that many people oppose our role in Iraq, but the soldiers are in a very tough fight and we have to accept that there will always be wars, there will always be casualties, and we have to respect both sides for the price they are paying.

izzyscout21, People can appreciate the sacrifices of our soldiers while still calling out the government on its bullshit. This war is an illegal one, not designed to defend the United States from an attack, nor to promote democracy, but to strengthen its position economically and strategically in the world. As one of your former General's put it- you're a soldier for big business.

Reading is sure a knowledgeable means, and that's what everybody who have truly understood the reason behind this war has done. But it hits you right on the face that this war is just for the OIL. When a country is occupied by an alien country for OIL or other means, they find different means of which suicide bombing is one, to get the aliens out of their much loved country. The media propogates these acts, adds their share and surely people believe what they read. But facts are not coming out.
Graphic36 (June 22, 2008 at 1:04 pm)
The vast majority of civilian deaths are caused by Iraqi suicide bombers engaged in sectarian violence. You think our media is skewed but I'm beginning to wonder if they even acknowledge the fact that there's suicide bombings every single day. I'm sure an IED has NEVER killed an Iraqi as well. Seriously, read something.
