The blast happened in a southern section of Sadr City that is larged controlled by U-S and Iraqi troops. Two of the Americans killed were civilians. The other two were soldiers. Another U-S soldier was wounded in the attack. Six Iraqi civilians died. Ten were wounded. Troops captured a man who tested positive for bomb residue shortly after the attack.The bombing came as U-S commanders have been working to restore and promote local administrations. That has put American troops at more risk, but also driven down levels of violence to the lowest point in more than four years. ___ ___, The Associated Press.

you know something. It doesn't matter how long we stay there. Bush says alot of stuff that makes us believe we are forever condemned with terrorisim. We shouldn't have even gone to war with Iraq. I thought that we were suppose to get Bin Laden. He is still out there. Saddam was a less threat to the united states than Laden. Bush is getting richer off this war and so is Cheney.

I've been in Aghanistan for almost 2 years, just glad to make it out alive and healthy.
The war in Afghanistan/Iraq is a war we cannot win. Our troops build a school in the province, half a week later they burned down the school and hung the children who dared to attend to go to school. Hung them from the trees, little children. How do you want to win such a dirty war, you tell me...

Yes me. It translates:

May peace and strength and to be virgins when Shiites in Iraq so that they can kill the Year stupid!

I doubt this is a real Afghan but who ever wrote this has a sick mind.

poor, uneducated kids are being used by sick, twisted leaders(Bush,Cheney,Rumsfeld,Bin Laden,Al Z.and Sadr to name the most infamous ones) to fight wars of attrition for reasons only they truly understand.
