Just think that during the height of his brutality, America and Britain were on such friendly terms with Saddam. Even after the gassing of the Kurds at Halabja, senatorial representatives from America, and British politicians flew out to see him, lavishing him with praise. Business as usual even when he was butchering, slaughtering and murdering. He was a compliant thug, and Britain and America were only too happy to be his friend.

Yes, idiot who made this film... There is much money (power) to be made in war and it is very lucrative. Cost of human life is quite insignificant on this scale of plunder. Yes, your entitled to your opinion, however, opinions should be based on facts (as you said) and the facts your using as the basis of your argument are quite erroneous. Try reading a few history books, learn about capitalist culture, then ask the question again. And yes, this is just my opinion.

that's what you were brainwashed to think. but like in japan, germany, europe, s.korea, our gain was the world's gain. america is the only nation that goes in, and rebuilds a nation, then lets it thrive.

It was an anti-Iran attempt of the enemies of Iran -- The Thugs of the world -- They brought him to power, provided him with all kinds of arms and ammo. Now the same ones are anti-Saddam. Those who favor them today, will be terminated by the anti-Islam [Anti-Iran thugs] It is just matter of time. REMEMBER WHO WERE SAFELY TRANSPORTED OUT OF IRAQ IN 1990/91. MUSLIMS WERE KILLED WHILE THE NON MUSLIMS WERE SAFE
