Thrust SSC - Fly-by (Excellent Mirage)
BackOn the 15th October 1997 Thrust SSC became the first car to ever break the sound barrier. Piloted by Wing Commander Andy Green of the RAF, a top speed of 763.035mph over the flying mile was achieved.
I've uploaded five videos, one on-board and four external (but unfortunately sound-free) videos that I found on the back end of a BBC website. Click on my profile for the list.

You want to make history? Easy to beat this thing. Make a steady frame, put a space shuttle booster rocket on it and ignite the baby! 2 things stopping you: fear and common sense.
