Beautiful plane. One of the fastest, if not the fastest, in the world. Shame they decomissioned her. I seen her at the Air Force Museum (Dayton, Ohio) flying long ago. just the sight of her is breath taking.

What are you saying??............the driver had to eject, but his parachute got caught in the engine?

Actually you can see the driver under the plane being dragged along at 1.42 and he's wearing black shorts...........god I feel soooooooo dumb!!!

Do they normally eject the drivers under the plane??

At 1.33 to 1.46 there is clearly visible a red thing beind the SR71 which is probably where the animator of this vid forgot to take it (the red thing) away

Are you stupid? That "Red thing" is clearly a parachute to help slow the plane down.. I really hope you're just trying to be funny, which in this case it's not funny at all....
