Just herd a great interview with brilliant physicist Michio Kaku talking about when he became a prof, all the information he found out about nuclear melt downs in the US around the 50s/60s- totally covered up (worse then 3 mile island).. add to that the generally asinine nature of MAD, the rabid game of chicken that was cold war proliferation, the vile experiments on humans (injecting inmates balls with plutonium)- so seeing this idiotic hunk of garbage doesn't surprise me.
