Today i was cycling on the famous Nuerburgring Nordschleife about 150 km, 3500 meter climb.
On the last climb i talked to a guy who already had alread made 200 km and >4000 meter climb on this day and he said:
"My pain of today is my strength of tomorrow."
I totally agree and like that sentence.

Congratulations Sven! Great work, and I hope you really enjoyed yourself. What's next!?!? :)

Thanks wagonman, I really appreciate the kind note. Very best of luck to you, and I support your approach - many people are "jumping into" IM right now, even as their first triathlon, and you're doing yourself a huge service to take a multi-year approach. You'll learn so much more, and be better prepared. Keep me posted on your progress, and all the best!

I'm only 16 and I'm brazilian, I use to train at a computrainer (maybe you don't know, it's a training roll managed by a computer). And today I found there the "Ironman Wisconsin" track, so I remembered these videos and selected it :D
It was pretty hard, but today I was great, so no big problems! And I even downloaded the music from this video, and I just got crazy when it played on my Mp3 during this track!
