I suspect that the people you spoke to did not represent the vast majority of Iranians. And may I ask you why we should be anti-Arab? If you're racist then that's your problem, but please don't confuse racism and nationalism with spirituality/religion/God. Most Iranians do not live in Tehran, so if you really want to know what most Iranians think, you have to travel to the Shahrestans, provinces and villages. Northern Tehran is not Iran. Moderation is the best, not extremism in either direction.

I'm not living in Iran, and I have been there few times since this barbaric regime came to power, but whoever I talked to hated this regime and not all of them were young. people in general are anti arab and somewhat anti islam, Iranian young generation are'n neither disillusioned nor westernized. they understand very well what's going on.

RB1840 - I'm sorry but you are so out of touch with reality! The vast majority of Iranians are not anti-Islam. Don't be so sure that the bulk of Iranians are against this regime even! You're thinking of a tiny minority of western-oriented youngsters in Iran and disillusioned shahollahis in the west, but they don't make up for even 1% of all Iranians in the world. We can not blame Islam or other religions because there are those who abuse, misinterpret and use religion for selfish ends.

Where were you helping the Shah then? did you support him? I am almost 99 % sure that you were one of those who attacked the Shah 24/7 and refused to open your eyes and see what's really happening and I am 99 % sure if the Shah had done that then you would be one of the first ones to say he was a bloodthirsty murderer raper etc blahblah... go back to your hole kid.

It's called the PERSIAN GULF and the bush administration's efforts to call it arabian to tick off iran is really childish. I can't wait to vote in november to keep these cronies out of office.
