Im a traditional rock and rock guy, And for me there are 4 drummers that are the foundation of rock percussion. Keith Moon, Carl Palmer, John Bohnam and Neil Peart. Who could argue that?

You forgot Bozzio and Colaiuta! To play Zappa's music is already a top foundation of any percussion style,rock,jazz,fusion, classical etc.etc.

Actually keith moon and bonham don't cut the top 4! Peart is up there of course.
