Predator (2.2 second run)

Back

Just one of the many cool things seen at Logging Days in Placerville California.
And just to clarify, this chainsaw holds the world record for cutting a log in 0.88 seconds, BUT the runs you see in this video are approximately 2 seconds long.

That took around 2 seconds to cut in this vid
Squeek94 (October 5, 2008 at 8:49 am)
mmmmm, ya I think you're right... but by my count, it might be more like 2.2 seconds.
Fiercefighter2 (October 5, 2008 at 12:21 pm)
lol i didnt see the title of the video, i just saw what it stated in the actual vid
Squeek94 (October 6, 2008 at 2:00 pm)
Ya this is what I figure about most users who say it took more than .88secs. I know my video is misleading, but i ddin't think about this when I made the video. No hard feelings. If I'd have known more about YouTube when I made this vid, I would have done things diffently. Maybe I'll try adding those video annotations.
Be well...

Yeah, it's a Buick. Probably an aluminum 215 from the early 60s.

God but I love YouTube! Not just for the vids, but for the inane and sometimes indecipherable comments that people leave.

Squeek94: Give it up man - you're wasting your time trying to explain things to most of these guys.

Btw; any idea what make of engine that is? Looks like an AMC or Buick.

Ya thanks. But most times I come across as more annoyed than I really am. I know its only YouTube, but sometimes I get drunk or bored and feel like replying. :D
I suppose I could ask RotaxRobert for the actual engine type and all its specs, but if you're dying to know, YouTube user RotaxRobert (found under the related videos links) is the owner/creator of this monster. I'm sure he will answer those technical questions.
Peace
