A movie made 30 years ago that perfectly describes the situation today about television, news, and the main stream media. It resonates louder and sounds truer today that it did when the movie was made.

Reality DOESNT have to be hard. Something to think about is what is making it so hard now. The people of the country are divided. People are not weak they are misguided. We need people willing to set an example and show the people how to unify. To show them their is hope.

The question to ask now is: WHY are we scared of our realities?

"09.17.2008 | Not Much To Report
It's a slow SM news week, nothing going on here but tour and studio preparations, so instead of loitering here, go ahead and watch (LINK HERE TO THIS MOVIE) this (END LINK). Then rent/netflix/pirate the movie. You're welcome."

9/17/2008...WTF? They said new news once every Monday.

Mass Media = Mass Bullsh*t

the truth is out there for us to get, its at our fingertips literally.

You can google government documents, your fingertips have more power than most people brain who dont use it to think for themselves.

Im happy you are fed up with the news broadcast....now, stop watching it. its all bs, the real news is on youtube, google and the independent news broadcast

As usual, Streetlight is becoming pretty freakin' lethargic with news updates.

I'm tired of this same story for 3 freakin' weeks straight.

I belive things on TV like sex, drugs, money, expensive lifestyles are just pleasures to escape stressful lives. Misinformation, sexual double standards, stereotypes, peer pressures and unrealistic ideals are illusions people have come up with to escape their fears.

The only reason we turn to illusions is because we're scared of our own reality.

I believe there's only one reason people are so entrenched in and worship the 'box'. They want to escape the harsh reality of the real world. It's tough, so like celebrities and musicians that go through hardships and pressures, they turn to the drug known as TV to quell their stresses and worries.

People aren't "sheep" or "stupid" or "asleep", they're WEAK.

funny how the critics of this film back in the day said it was over the top and tried to answer too many issues, and now the movie is alive.
