Goodie Mob "Dirty South"
BackAlong with OutKast, with whom they were closely associated, Goodie Mob was among the first Southern rap acts to attain nationwide recognition, particularly with their classic debut, Soul Food (1995). The group unraveled after only its third album, World Party (1999), when Cee-Lo broke away for a solo career, and overall their recognition was much more critical than commercial. All the same, Goodie Mob's reputation as a pioneering Southern rap act remains firmly in place, and that reputation was considerably bolstered once Cee-Lo, as the frontman of Gnarls Barkley, broke into mainstream consciousness with the smash hit "Crazy" in 2006.

in 93 when outkast had 1 album out, flip was still underground with over a million copies of his shit sold...outta tha trunk of his car, he stayed underground and made more money then tha goodie mob ever did. you just dont know bro...

So millions of dollars makes for a better MC? So i guess it's all about how many records are sold vs. how many hearts and minds one can inspire and touch right?
Hip Hop respects money and power waaay too much over rhymes and artistry. I ain't dissin you...Im jus mad cuz it's people wit mindsets like you that are fuckin up Hip Hop...Hip Hop is bigger than a good hustle...
