Baron Johnson of Ocala, FL performing a round of flying in his first US Nats appearance in RC Helicopter. This was only his second helicopter contest. A week prior to this event, he won 2nd place in Scale Aerobatics and 1st place in SA Freestyle.

Rotor speed is entirely dependent on personal setup preference. There are no restrictions.

He was having some gyro issues. It's hard to troubleshoot this stuff when you're at a contest. Some of it is engine tuning (fairly new engine) and some of it is gyro setup. Baron has only been flying helis less than a year, but he's picking up a lot of info.
