MaddMatt's ArmA Effects with Chammy's Sound Mod

Back


Part 2 of 2, shows MaddMatt's ArmA Effects mod with Chammy's Sound mod, working together at the same time! That's right. Extract the two files from Chammy's Sound Mod,(CSM_cfg.pbo and CSM_Sounds.pbo) into the @ArmAEffects folder, C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\@ArmAEffects\Addons folder. For your ArmA.exe shortcut, edit the Target line to add after the quote following
ArmA.exe" -mod=@ArmAEffects
And then start up ArmA to enjoy both sound and MaddMatt's ArmAEffects simultaneously.

you dont have to copy the soundmod into @armaeffects. Just type in: -mod=@ArmAEffects;@whatever
you can start as many mods as you want. you just have to separate them wit an ";".

had same thing - reinstalling arma wont help - had to reinstall OS

how come you have to edit the [.exe] in arma and have mod folders to add addons, cant you have more than one running?(obviously you can with these two) cant you just put all addons in a folder like the original ofp?

yes you can have more than one running. Usually when I loadup I have about 20-30 running. You don't need to alter the .exe. :)

Thanks, fellas. The voice you hear in this is one of my fellow =dB= Clan members, and it's of us hearing Chammy's Sounds with one of the early versions of Matt's ArmA Effects. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that the captions I added with DiVx Author did not make it onto the clip when I uploaded it. I'm looking forward to seeing some of ArmAVidz' movies showcasing the latest release of Matt's ArmA Effects just because his vidz are phenomenal!
