I am currently trying to figure out how to make a non-lethal gun..like a paintball game type thing...I use the CSM in my Mods folder specially for my paintball gun missions(it sounds like paintball xD)

Hmm, I would beg to differ. Unless it sounds like one of the new X7's which I haven't heard. Tippman's and Spyders don't sound like that. Even the rifled tactical barrels or flatlines don't really sound the sound mod. ;)

All i know is that an sks fired from about 160m away in my direction makes wizzzzzzzz POP sound.

I was behind a tree, and my friend wanted to do a few shots from the top of a different valley that he had hiked, and he didn't want to walk somewhere else. So i hid behind thick tree and yelled ready. Was quite excilerating.
Other times i have been hiking around this 4x4/shooting range and have had pistol and rifle rounds wizz and whine past me.

If you use Firefox for an explorer and you have downloaded the FLVplayer you can download streamed movies from youtube and stuff if you want. Sometimes it doesn't work due to copyrights but you try that if you want to download it. Message me if you have any troubles.

Yes and nothing i've heard in footage compares to hearing the real thing going on.
People call these soundpacks real because they resemble what they hear in combat footage but reality is nothing like that.
1- high pitched.
2- loud.
3- metalic.

Yes, when you are next to the weapon you hear it high pitched and metalic sharp sound but when you are way the sound is muffled like you said. When you are far the weapon is not so loud but when you get closer you shit your pants.
