we were shooting guns at the local range, and my friend was firing the M16 and it kept jamming, but we thought he cleared it, eventually we think two bullets were left in the tube, and when the bullet fired, it exploded... one funny thing to watch is after the gun explodes, my friend checks his face to make sure his features are still all present.... we joke about it now, but at the time, it was scary

I do not like the M16. I have shot AR-15s and they just seem cheap and flimsy. I study weapon systems and in my opinion the G36 is the best assault rifle of the time. I think that the M14 is the best rifle of the cold war era. The AK-47 is powerful, cheap, and reliable, but it is innacurate. The M14 is powerful, accurate, reliable, and battle tested.

well the modern day american assault rifles are more accurate but the ak is a more powerful gun and the bullet tumbles alot so its a bit in accurate. my pick would be an M-4 or HK-G3

Depends on your point of view the M-16 has made us lose many troops in pointless wars the Vietnam war and Iraq war the US troops say even themselves my bud is a marine infact my dad is was marine in the viet conflict every soilder has discarded their m-16 pos for a ak-47 because the ak-47 doesn't suck balls we can continue why if you want

you could just tell something bad was about to happen, thats why when a weapon jams just put it down for a bit, you could tell he was getting impatient and just wanting to shoot, but yea m16s are shitty
