You'll see ya sassenach fool. Our country is still great while yours is infested with militant muslims, drug crazed gangs stabbing each other up, asylum seekers, criminals and Poles. England will sink into a morass of it's own design while Scotland rises again. The people of the world like Scotland and its people, English aren't liked or respected. If you hate Scotland why would you begrudge us our independence?! It's because you fear having your stupid country shown up!!

a good way to stop the arrow from splitting is to smear glue over the nock

A very nice bow indeed, and nice handling as well! My older brother made a couple of bows using measured drawings provided by The Danish National Museum, showing danish iron age bows found during an excavation. They took a pull of around 70 lbs, while being considerably smaller than your bow in respect to both length as well as diameter, why I would surely regard your informations regarding the pull to be true.

To be honest I took that clip about a year and a half ago so from memory I'd usualy get about 235 to 240 yards on a battle shaft on that bow. It's awaiting a repair at the minute so I'm shooting a 110lb and 120lb laminate at hte minute.

The broken arrow sounds painfull. I've seen it happen a couple of times but it's never happend to me. I Always check my arrows before shooting for cracks but there is always the chance. Like you I make all my own arrows someimes from raw wood, sometimes not.
