Burmese Market: Shan Zay - Kachin Zay Revisited 2008
BackVariously named as Shan Zay, Kachin Zay and Mogok Zay by the locals for its diverse ethnic foodstuffs and for want of an official name, this busy evening market near Yadanabon Zay in Mandalay, Myanmar, boasts an array of farm produce from the northern and eastern regions of the country. Its food stalls offer both ethnic and Burmese fare that includes restaurant dishes as well as snacks.
