This was at Comblain-La-Tour, Belgium, August 1965. I was there.

"Naima"....this is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! Pure Jazz....nothing compares. McCoy Tyner from 3:10-3:48....I shook my head the whole time. There were several times I shook my head throughout this video. Too many to count. Fortunately, this is on video. Unfortunately, this music cannot be duplicated.

the only thing that could make this video better, if that is possible, is to have had a good shot of Mr. Coltranes fingering as he solos to the close of the number. I am swept away by his genius and would love to have seen the fingering recorded as it occured. I literally have 6 to 7 versions of this piece, but none approach the beauty of the individual performances found here. much respect to the poster.

Kenny G's music is amazing, it is not souless, thoughtless or heartless. I love playing his music, and I also love listening and playing Coltrane's music.

So sweet, so creative, so generous.
