I studied Aja and can play it to the T as well as Nite Sprite. It's obvious to me you missed the whole point of the clinic. Shut your mouth and keep listening and practicing. And by the way learn your Latin, if you can. One has to in order to be a complete Jazz drummer .Would you make that comment to Steve in person. I wonder what he would say to a nimrode like you

Yes, I would praise Steve Gadd to his face. He's one of my idols. You must not understand English.

Giovanni doesn't have anywhere near the chops that Gadd has, but I'm sure you know more than anyone else who comments on a matter such as this... being a "complete" jazz drummer and all :-)

for those who say one drummer can go faster etc than another , you miss the point and you miss the magic , these two of the best players , so much soul and time and feel . if you can only hear the speed or whatever then you are not hearing music
