I like the bit where he says that he keps asking to go out and have a beer and a fag and where he keeps thinking theres a party going on and hes not invites...great book!

I have read his book, and it is increadibly touching, but he only got everything (operation highlands!) because of who he was and the amount of money that he earns. Nukerm is right about his over the top wages but he is a lovely, thoughtful man because all the money that was raised when he was in a coma went to the Vorkshire air ambulance, Leeds general infirminary and Bristol rehabilitation unit.

huge respect to mr hammond his wife and girls I just read the book and if you have a dry eye whilst reading it ...well all I can say is where is your humanity??This story is about courage fear and FAMILY not to mention a lot of laffs....well worth a read and a bloke I would love to buy a pint(and I NEVER get the beers in!)
