Freedom of Speech and H.R. 1955 pt. 1

Back

Though the authors of H.R. 1955 would likely deny that the bill could be used to crack down on free speech and legitimate political opposition, the talking heads on the main stream networks have made it very clear that they would like this kind of legislation to do just that.
Can H.R. 1955 be used to silence the voices of dissent? Let's have a look.

WTF, dude? Yes, you have the freedom of speech, but what you decide to do with it is on you. If you decide to be a vulgar asshole about it, no one but the wrong people are going to listen. If you choose to use your freedom like an educated adult, you might make some real friends and actually make the world a better place.

"Hurt people who lost loved ones on 9/11"?!

If you think censorship is bad now wait until the Democrats reintroduce the Fairness Doctrine in the US. We will lose our right to free speech in America under the Obama, Polosi, Reid regime.

What bipartisan bullshit. Bush passed the Patriot act, and you want to act like free speech will be taken away by someone who isn't even president yet?

Wait a couple fuckin months and we will see.

Every american citizen who voted for George W Bush has an enormous responsibility for the state of our union.

And yet most are still so deluded that not only will they take no personal responsibility. They still, are under the illusion that by aspiring to wealth and power they in turn will become wealthy and powerfull.
Yet most are no more wealthy and powerfull today then they were 8 years ago.

You must be a republican msldcs.

Only republicans are this confused as to what went wrong, and who's to blame.
