Maybe could be interesting a new version of gwangi.. Located in the first years of the 20th century as well, but with CGI

That would be a good idea. They'd have to include more dinosaurs as well, cos apparently there's only 4 or 5 different kinds in the original

Harryhausen considered Gwangi his finest single creation, but was so disappointed when the movie failed that he almost left show biz. Thank goodness he stayed around for 2 more Sinbad movies and Clash of the Titans!

The "cowboys vs. dinosaur" theme was dreamed up by Harryhausen's mentor Willis O'Brien and was made into a very low budget movie called "The Beast of Hollow Mountain".

right but think about this the guys who worked on the effects of jurrasic park based the ideas for movements especially the galamimus scene with T rex chasing them off of the valley of gwangi. but O'Brien and Harryhausen are the greatest stop motion men ever

I agree, I like like all Harryhausen`s works but, I have an especial affection for his Sinbad movies! they are part of my childhood! when I was eleven I missed a test in school because " Sinbad and the eye of the tiger" was going to be shown on the same day! can you believe it?
