That vid doesn't include the titanium steel armor, the 11-hard points, and the fact that the aircraft slows down from the recoil of the GAU-8.

I Just wonder one thing always concerning gatlings and I try to explain...
If the barrel spins around as it does in gatlings, it fires a round at the same time. Now how can the round go exactly straight ahead like in a static barrel, I mean the barrel needs to give the projectile kind of a spin energy, which would force the round to go completely off track when in the air, but that actually doesn't happen, how can that be? In Fact the barrels are spinning at an enormous speed (3000+rpm)!!

Alright, so the barrel is 7.5' long, and the muzzle velocity is 3,500 ft/s. So, it only takes each round about .002 seconds to exit the barrel. At 3,900 rpm (65 rps), this gives the barrel a chance to rotate only about .14 of a revolution, so there's not much of a translation factor. Plus, the ammunition's fairly heavy (almost a pound each), which at such a high velocity gives each round a lot of momentum, so they won't easily deviate from their course.

very nice analysis there buddy, plus its accuracy is compensated by the volume of ammo being released in a single shot. as you can see, not all projectile hits the target, nevertheless, the target is destroyed due to overwhelming burst of ammo

Really it's not as awfully precise even tho it seems so.. Compared to other guns, or gatling guns for that matter, it isn't very precise, but it got such a heavy firing speed, that it dosn't matter at all, also Ultra's right on, That's quite the simple reason for it, but it still ain't precise, and about 2/10 of the bullets will go rather much out of course, but it really dosn't show..

THe highe rate of fire puts more rounds on target is the sortest amount of time.
80% on target from an aircraft moving at 450KIAS is pretty accurate.
try shooting a tree 3 times from a moving car at 50mph.
