This song came to mind at the gym this morning after sometime and I will love it forever. Just saw the video today Sunday, it's been years. Why can/can't young singers or bands make feel good music such as this one, I guess they have to get older first, anyway, I know a joanna from way back. Thanks Kool and the Gang!

Oh my gosh, I love this song! This was my first record, in 1983, my mom bought it for me on LP because my name is Joanna, I must have listened to it hundreds of times.

man i remember riding to school in the back seat as a kid and this being on the radio. it would get stuck in my head and stay there all day making me hum it while i did my school work...wow the memories this song brings back for me

CHEESY AND CORNY is all I hear you young ppl talk about with these CLASSic songs. i assure you in 25 years all the trash you listen tom will look bad too. keep in mind it was THE 80's things were different not to mention MTV was still a baby and actually played music.Videos were new to everyone.

toddwikkk is quick to judgement and could find acceptance to everything in life, Your looking too far ahead and yes everything changes but the memories will stand, more meaningful than todays music.
