Fannie Mae was created by the government to make it easier to issue more mortgages. Large bad government triggered this.

thanks for the worldwide banking collapse, milton. thanks for the totalitarian governments using your horseshit theories as a thin veneer to mask their greed as "science."
iceland and chile were definitely a testament to your skill and ability. and i thank you for everything you've done. the keynesian market model is so last year! i mean, so what if it's been prove time and time again to work, while free markets consistently fail? you're a visionary, and the little people don't understand!

Free market failing?
I thought it was the central banks and the uncontrolled lending, borrowing brought about by artificial credit expansion on behalf of the central banks. As far as I know libertarian economists do not support a centralised banking system whether public or private.

nice analysis. you apparently have never read or dove into his analysis of any subject.
keynesian economics: short term multiplicative growth
Friedman economics: long term exponential growth
Do you understand how this works?

Let's talk about sweatshops...You may not like sweatshops because of the conditions workers endure. But you have to ask yourself one question; Why do workers work in sweatshops? Because it's better than the alternative of working in the rice fields!!!! These people are working their way out of poverty and into prosperity. If you fight against sweatshops and close them down, like it has been done, you will send these people back to the farms and lower their standard of living.

"he's just a stupid socialist."
so is the leader of the republican party, George Bush:
President Bush reassured investors that the government will solve the financial crisis gripping world economies.
