british? Hah , youse boys were never british... The act of union formed the kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Before 1922 every unionist considered themselves themselves irish but believed in union with great britain. Ian Paisley and co. only started calling themselves "british", because other countries would be like if your irish then why arent you with the irish government. The great unionists Criag and Carson never saw themselves as British but as Irish.
