F-16 Falcon vs F-14 Tomcat Dogfight

Back

Air Force F16 fighter jet (technically an F16N---denoting it was sold to the Navy---but this aircraft is mainly used by the USAF rather than Navy) vs the F14 Navy Aircraft.

Instructors are piloting the F-16, students are in the F-14s. Enjoy =)

Excellent point. All high performance aircraft have their strong and weak points. Once again it all comes back to TRAINING.

More like FL500+. All these military fighters have high ceilings because they have powerful engines and high rate of climb

Also the F-22 and the EF Typhoon

F-14 vs F-16, not really fair for the 14's. great plane but it's twice the size of an F-16.

Yup...air battles and supremecy aren't the same as NASCAR. Everyone isn't out there in the same exact machine...consequently that means I've gotten about 1000 comments now arguing for either the F16, 14, 18, or their uncle's rebuilt Plymouth Barracuda as top cheese! The # of variables are so vast and dynamic that you'll never conclude on this thread. You're better off starting a debate on religion if you want others to see your point of view...cuz it ain't happening when discussing aviation!
